Popoli Pop Cult is a four-day festival dedicated to the cultures of peoples from around the world, creating a representative "microworld" within the medieval walls of the village of Bagnara di Romagna. It fosters intercultural dialogue and sharing, offering art, entertainment, crafts, and folklore, as well as numerous gastronomic opportunities representative of the hosted "peoples." The aim has always been to promote global citizenship education, where, year after year, a sense of belonging to a new, broader community is born and developed, where differences are erased, in an egalitarian context where individuals present their identities without stereotypes. Furthermore, one of "Popoli"'s goals is to serve as a driving force for the hosted communities by organizing integration activities for their communities in Italy and solidarity activities in their countries of origin.
Every year, from the last Thursday of June to Sunday: a four-day festival featuring over twenty food stands from as many countries serving authentic cuisine, musical and entertainment performances by international artists, dance shows and traveling music, cultural learning opportunities, exhibitions, and workshops.
